Wow, it's been a long while since my last blog post. Alot of images have loaded in the last year, the database is up to 8400 images. I don't think I'll get to summarizing them all, but I'll start with the more recent additions. Alot of images coming from the
Discovery Australia coins from the Perth Mint. The 2009 series features
Echidna coins,
Dolphin coins,
Brolga coins,
King Brown Snake coins, and
Kangaroo coins. The 2008 series features
Frilled Neck Lizard coins. For the lunar series:
Australian Silver Ox coins and
Australian Gold Ox coins.
From the US Mint,
presidential dollar coins and
Commemorative 1/2 oz Gold pieces.
I added various
finisher medals from running races I attended, and some
10 ounce silver bars.
Some
Tuvalu coins,
Cook Islands coins, and
Vatican coins were also added.
The last hard disk crash has wiped out my previous emails. If you have sent a request for a link or image request in the past, please resend it. I was pretty far behind in reading and processing these requests.
There was a hard disk crash, I am in the process of reloading images and files. Thanks for your patience
Over 7100 images in the database, and still going strong. I will updating this blog and highlighting varies themes that I've working on lately.
Over 6350 images now. I'm going through the new mint offerings from around the world, at least the ones with press pages :). I've added the lunar coins:
Australian Silver Pig Australian Gold Pig as well as the new
Silver Kookaburra Coins from the Perth Mint.
I've also added some common
nickels from the 1980's,
nickels from the 1970's and
nickels from the 1960's. The metal content in each nickel is worth around 7 cents, so a lot of these will start disappearing.
The same goes for cents before 1982, they are worth about 1.7 cents each:
pennies from the 1950's,
pennies from the 1960's, and
pennies from the 1970's were also added to the database.
GREATTONING has been selling some great
buffalo nickels lately like this
1915 D Buffalo Nickel and this
1927 S Buffalo Nickel. Thanks for the images!
